River walk
This motel is top notch with a great view of the river and the mountains in the back ground also the woods trail is excellent where you can find one of the benches along the river and sit and relax and hear the bubbling water running by. Great value for your money. We will be back here again
Impeccably Clean Rooms!
We felt so welcomed by the owners! We were doing a trip of the Cabot trail, they told us all the hot spots to see, as well as went out of their way to get us a reservation for dinner! They recommended a great breakfast spot on the day we were leaving! The room itself was set up beautifully, and it was impeccably clean! We’ve already recommended the Cornerstone to all our friends, and have already decided on our yearly trip to Cape Breton, it will be the first place we book!

Highly recommended
Location of motels is great. It is very close to all the famous trails (Skyline, Gypsum mine, Acadia etc.) and also very close to Cheticamp town. Local convenience store is also near by. Motel is very clean as well. It is situated in a very quite neighbourhood.
The Owners were delightful!
The owners were delightful, great food recommendations. Property has a nice yard, fire pit and river. Very clean and all covid precautions in place. Would definitely stay again.
