The room we had was very comfortable the view from our riverside window was amazing, especially with the fall colours. The added bonus of a short warm up trail on the hotel property was an added delight. The location of the motel was also ideal as it enables you to explore that side of the Cabot Trail in detail without too much driving.

Nice, fresh motel in an ideal location for exploring the Cabot Trail. This little gem has been refreshed and is on a charming plot of land adjacent to the Cheticamp River. The new owners obviously love their property and have even cleared a trail along the river and through the wooded area so that guests can explore it with ease. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Just wonderful, fantastic and magnificent service by the motel owner. He was with us for the campfire as well. We enjoyed his company and he is really plesant personality. Rooms were quite good with all necessary amenities.

Fabulous stay at the Cornerstone – again! We stayed at the Cornerstone in July, and had to return. The Motel, located at the entrance of the CB Nat’l Park, is situated with fabulous views of the mountains and Cheticamp River. The Motel owners, Kathy and Greg are lovely people who really enjoy their patrons. They ensure room needs are met, and the rooms are exceptionally clean – especially in Covid times. They also promote the community. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cornerstone Motel and will be sure to stay again, as well as tell our friends!

This little motel was bought by new owners 6 years ago and they have been completing renovations. Location is right at the base of the mountain when you come into Cheticamp. There is a beautiful brook and a fire pit.

Owners are beyond helpful and friendly. They can’t do enough for you. Rooms are clean and the ones by the brook have a beautiful view. Fridge and coffee maker in each room. We had a really nice time. Ate at L’Abri and hiked to the Gypsum mine. Would go back in a heartbeat.
