During these challenging times, the Cornerstone Staff understand the need to add extra safety measures at registration and sterilizing the “high touch points” and the guest room furniture in order to ensure that we provide as safe an environment as we can for all of our guests and staff.
- We use a hospital grade cleaning agent to ensure all rooms have been sanitized as the last step in our cleaning regiment
- We will be using proximity spacing (6ft/2m) in the registration office in order to maintain safe distancing practices for all of our guests and staff
- Regular cleaning and sanitization of common areas including, front office, front desk as per the provincial schedule mandated by the Nova Scotia Health Authority
- Removal of all unnecessary items in the room to reduce any chance of contamination in rooms
- When guests are in the rooms for several days, housekeeping will not enter the room for our regular housekeeping functions unless the guest specifically requests it and the room must be vacant in order to a proper distance is maintained
- When and where possible, we will leave rooms unoccupied for 24-48 hrs in order to help reduce the risk of any Covid-19 remaining in the room
