With the seaside landscapes and dense forest cover, Cape Breton offers a tremendous variety of birds in the area and particularly in the May and June time frame when they are mating and singing loudly for a mate which makes them much easier to find.

Over the past years, we have asked our bird watching guests to list the sightings they make and we have kept an extensive list of these birds.
